This lovely soft baby blanket is made using 100% cotton in a beautiful yellow. It is suitable for wrapping a new born baby boy or girl or to use in the pram, cot or pushchair. The pattern is a seashells crochet stitch and is finished off with a lovely picot twist edging. You can use any soft baby cotton and the gauge does not matter. You can increase the size by adding more seashells per row or the number of starting chains as long as they are divisible by 6 +2. Cotton is great for young humans, it is very serviceable and washable on a 40 degree temperature. I have made 2 blankets, one in pink and one in yellow.
