This pretty ribbed hat is knitted with 3 strands of Wendy Roam Fusion 4 ply wool with some nylon for added strength. As an alternative to Wendy Roam, you can use any chunky weight yarn (the measurements may be different to the pattern). The rib is 2 x 1 and the main body of the hat is 1 x 1 rib giving the hat a lovely snug fit. The 3 sizes are for a toddler, a child and an adult and the pattern is written for straight needles and for circular needles - the choice is yours.  The hat is finished with a contrasting bobble
