The faux cable bobble hats are made using beautifully soft Paintbox yarn in 50% Wool and 50% acrylic. You don't need a cable needle for knitting the pattern so this makes handling the pattern much easier. A pair of knitting needles will do. The yarn is available in a variety of colours.  Any other aran yarn will be fine with a swatch measurement of 18 sts and 24 rows. The pattern is designed for UK terminology. There are 3 children sizes small, medium and large. 18”, 20” and 22” circumference. Suitable for baby/toddler/older children.
Skill level: if you can knit and purl and handle decreases then you will be able to knit a hat in no time at all
